Time for Family and Friends

This past weekend, my mom and dad stopped by their son's home in Mandalay Bay to visit family and friends on their travels home from my mom's Dr. visit. It sounds like they had a great time and my mom's pain patches are helping her manage the pain much better...

Dr. Visit

My mom is down South for another Dr. visit... It appears that her current chemo medication is doing its' job... (Her Dr. was pleased with the looks of things...) For pain, she was given a new medication that comes in the form of a patch that will slowly release a pain medication that shouldn't make her too drowsy.

Description of Service:

Marleen Golonsky has been a part of Union and now Annie R. Mitchell school for the past 12 years. She currently teaches two County Special Education Classes here on campus. Mrs. Golonsky is a champion for students, and is a tireless advocate for the special needs of her children. Marleen takes steps daily to ensure all children are included in our campus activities. On top of all of this, Marleen has been battling a very serious illness, and yet has been a constant presence on our campus. She truly is a huge source of inspiration for all of us.

Great staff got together to celebrate my mom and 33 days left of school. What fun!!! Lunch with the girls at my mom's favorite place to eat, Olive Garden.

My Aunt Debbie is putting together a Team for a "Relay for Life" event in Exeter, CA. So Grandma is keeping her hands busy these days... making hats for the event... Way to go, Grandma and Aunt Debbie!

Doctor Visit
