Today, my mom spend her time with her grandkids... first, Dawn took her to my house to visit Kaleb, who wasn't feeling well, and then they went to the Navy Base to visit with Matt's family. My mom said she was "very tired", but she LOVES watching her grandkids grow...

Lately, my mom's feet have really been in pain, due to her chemo meds... "What a pain"... it really makes getting around hard...

Getting Good Rest

In the last week, my mom has gotten some good rest... at her parents house, on the island, and at Mandelay bay... In fact, you know my mom is asleep and at peace if she doesn't wake-up for a thing (since she is usually a light sleeper). This proved to be the case at her son's house... while Dawn took Ida to the ER at 1:00am Monday morning... (If it is not my mom going to the ER with Dawn in the wee hours... it is someone else.)

A Pit Stop

After a Father's Day breakfast with her Dad, my mom and Dawn traveled to Andrew's house in Mandelay Bay; in a RED car...

The funny thing was... a few weeks ago my mom got a fortune cookie that read, "Buy the red car", so... She rented the RED car instead...

Time for Friends

Yesterday, my mom's GREAT OLD FRIENDS (since Elementary school...) joined together to help in the celebration of "Mrs. Brock's" retirement party. Congratulations, "Aunt Kathy"!

School school school...

Do my mom and Dawn ever really take a break from school... after their Dr. appointments both of them went to a Lakeshore ("Teacher store") to shop and then continued to make arrangements with their stuff for summer school; which both of them say they have off... (Are the two of them really not going to go into their classrooms...?)

After a relaxing time on the island, my mom and Dawn went back to the mainland this morning for another Dr. visit.

An Escape to the Island

Dawn and my mom will be going to Catalina Island, today, to rest for a few days... now that school is out for summer.

Dr. Visit

My mom and dad traveled down south again for another Dr. appointment, yesterday. The Dr. was very pleased with the looks of my mom's left side... However, her chest seems to still be a little concerning... so my mom will continue the battle with the oral chemo medication, since no further radiation can be done on that area.

Matt's Graduation

Family gathered this weekend to celebrate Matt's degree from Chapman University. WAY TO GO, MATT!!!
