Bone Test

My mom is down South this weekend... she had a bone test done on Friday (1/30/09) and should have the results back by next week.

Today, my mom got her test results from last week... things appear to be good... her cancer is localized...

A Visit with the Dr.

My mom went down South to attend a service for our JJ on January 19th and then made a visit with her Dr. Her cancer at this point, seems to be localized and under control... She had some tests done and will have another visit with her Dr. next Friday for a bone test. For now, she is to continue taking her chemo meds. via mouth, which cuts down on the amount of rides that she had to take down South the last time she did chemo.

Breakfast with the Girls

All the girls/sisters decided to give the guys a break... and went out to breakfast together. Next, is a shopping spree... :)

My Mom held Jonathon ALL day to keep them both warm.

In the last couple of days... family bonding has been in order... Here we are having lunch together at Valley Children's Hospital... while we wait to take our Jonathon home.

My mom spent the last two days visiting with our JJ! Our little Jonathon is currently at Valley Children's Hospital in Fresno... We hope to make him comfortable and bring him home...

Christmas all over Again...

Matt and his family spent Christmas in Mexico this Christmas, with Mireya's Family, so as a result... Grandma had Christmas at her house all over again on New Year's Day.

It is hard to believe that a year has gone by... 2008 was the year that my mom began her journey and battled through cancer... What a fighter...! As many of you know, my mom went through treatment after treatment... yet continued to play her role as wife, mom, grandma, and teacher to those in her life. (What a busy year!) So... this year, my mom is hoping for better health and much more strength!
