Happy New Year, Everyone!

It is hard to believe that a year has gone by... 2008 was the year that my mom began her journey and battled through cancer... What a fighter...! As many of you know, my mom went through treatment after treatment... yet continued to play her role as wife, mom, grandma, and teacher to those in her life. (What a busy year!) So... this year, my mom is hoping for better health and much more strength!

Congrats, Amy! We will miss you...!

Today, my mom had an EKG done in Visalia, visited her Radiation staff, and went to her classroom to put away the holiday decorations... Amy came by to help... Boy, my mom is really going to miss her... However, I don't think Amy will ever be that far away... Congrats on your new job, Amy!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Thank you to everyone, who wrote letters for my mom's gratitude box. My mom enjoyed receiving them...















Christmas is always special with grandkids to share it with...

And of course, Grandmas LOVE to spoil their grandchildren on their first Christmas... Little Selah didn't know quite what to do after being dressed-up in many holiday outfits... by 10pm on Christmas night she was down for the count.

My mom and dad spent a weekend away... to celebrate their wedding anniversary and spent some time together...

My mom spent some time with some of her grandkids, during the holiday season, making bears with them. Oh what fun they had...!

Disneyland Cheer!

My mom will be continuing treatment down South. As a result, we figured "The Happiest Place on Earth" would be in the Doctors' orders, sometime soon... so plans are in the works... Later, today, we returned home, to find a package from my mom's friend Jane with some holiday/Disneyland cheer... Thanks, Jane!!! My mom loved her new set of magical ears! (It was just what she needed!)

My mom graduated from radiation treatments today! She is finally done and was excited, but will miss the great staff at the Sequoia Regional Cancer Center. She is schedule to see her Doctor down south on Tuesday, December 23rd at 9:00 am in time to return home for the holidays.
